Budget busters!

So much has been made of the recent Australian budget. Supposedly the previous government put Australia into huge debt; the counter argument being that without the so called 'stimulus package' Australia would have headed to recession. One month later it is still causing huge headaches for the government.

Historically, any budget goes through a history of surplus and deficit so is it fair to cut spending in order to achieve surplus faster?

So Tony Abbott has tried to get the budget back to surplus through massive cuts to spending. However it has been argued that his budget has widened the gap between the haves and have nots.

Beyond the concept of fair

How could we make a 'fair budget?'

If you had a substantial amount of money, could you spend it fairly?
